If you don't know how to carve you can just use some paint. However, carving is way better because you can put a small candle inside the lantern and make it look super scary. During the Halloween season you can usually find someone to do a carving at a very affordable price. Just make sure you always use caution when handling candles.

Spider Webs
Spider webs are another item that are synonymous with Halloween. Fake spider webs are by far the Halloween party decorating ideas around. You can find them just about anywhere and they are easy to put up. If you want to have a little fun you can make your own spider webs with cotton batting. Once you have your spider webs you will need to get some spiders to put in the webs. Again, super easy to find and very affordable. Don't fill your spider webs up with only spiders. Get other bugs as well. Doing so will add to the creepy factor.
Fake Blood

Fake body parts go great with fake blood. A fake arm, leg, foot or hand can always bring a little scary to the atmosphere. Body parts are great to set up in a room that has very little light. And if you don't want to buy them, you can always use common food items that look like body parts. For example, cut up hot dogs can look like severed fingers while spaghetti noodles can look like veins.
Tombstones
A tombstone with the R.I.P inscription is the most common and scariest Halloween decoration there is. According to old myths and urban legends it is similar to old time graveyards that were said to be haunted. You can either make your own tombstone or you can buy one when the Halloween season comes around.
